About this paw paw
Long spears of dried paw paw for a soft, mellow tropical snack.
Paw paw is the gentle one among the tropical fruits: soft, chewy and musky-sweet, without the sharpness of pineapple or the perfume of mango. A little citric acid gives it a clean finish.
Tear a spear into the lunchbox, or snip a few over Greek yoghurt with a spoonful of passionfruit. Toss them with coconut chips and macadamias for a tropical trail mix, or lay them across a grazing board for colour among the crackers.
